On the Mend-

Last week was one long long week for me....Izybel wasn't feeling well all week. At the begenning of the week I didn't really think anything of her runny nose or cranky attitude. It seems like ever since we've opened the daycare she's had a runny nose and she's always had an attitude. On Monday Hailey took Nash to the Dr. because he wasn't feeling well and he ended up having pneumonia...so this kind have scared me....and Izybel just kept seeming like she was getting worst and worst, and she was already on an antibiotic for a double ear infection. I knew Hailey was going out of town so I decided I just better take her in to get looked at since I wouldn't have time the rest of the week (and the night before she whined all night)
So, on Wednesday morning I took her to the doctor and she was not happy about it. She hates going there being messed with and stuff. They listened to her lungs and said they didn't sound too good and that her ears had gotten worst and they thought she might have RSV. I couldn't beleive it....I wasn't thinking that she would have that...just a bad cold or something. They brought me a machine for breathing treatments to clear out the gunk in her lungs and gave her a big ol' shot! I was near tears with her too.I hate seeing her have to go through that. During her breathing treatement they brought in the RSV test, I was just thinking like a swab of the throat...oh no....They bring in this syringe with a tube hooked on it that they stick clear up her nose, it was awful, but fast, thank goodness. The test came back positive and I knew it was going to be a long few days.
We decided that we better shut down the daycare. Hailey was going out of town, Izybel had RSV...our worker was out of town...and all the kids seemed like they were pretty sick there too, so we let the air clear there for a few days. Izybel and I stayed home those whole four days, not going anywhere. I found out that I could never be a stay at home mom. I was going NUTS! I just needed to get out, but I knew Izybel was very contagious and needed those four days to just stay home and not be near any germs. So, Izybel and I played, cleaned, cooked, and watched movies over and over again. I think that we were both glad to get out of the house today. And she seems like she is doing tons better.

The day I took her to the doctor, you can just tell she looks sick-

riding her pony

This is her 100th time destroying her room....I picked it up over and over again

Looks like she's plotting her next plan of attack

This is Izybel today....I think she was as happy as me to get out of the house
